Unfortunately, our friend Prof. Mira, passed away on august 13th, 2008 due to a fast progression cancer. We completed his organization of IWINAC2009 and dedicated this conference in honour to his scientific work.

IWINAC 2009 has concluded now.

The proceedings were published in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science series, volumes LNCS-5601 and 5602 (all the individual contributions are also available online).
